The Perfect Materials For Every Project

As one of Southern California’s largest commercial flooring contractors, we’re able to offer our clients the benefit of access to a wide variety of flooring materials. We install and service all types of flooring from every major and specialty manufacturer, ranging from modestly-priced value products to high-end luxury products.

  • Carpet

Modern manufacturing techniques have allowed designers to create unique and beautiful carpet that is both cost-effective and stylish. Traditional broadloom carpet is rapidly being overtaken by modular carpet tile, which is available in an increasing variety of shapes, sizes, and styles. Carpet is an excellent choice for many applications as it is relatively inexpensive, soft, and can be more forgiving with issues in the subfloor that would be obvious if other materials are used.

  • Vinyl

Vinyl flooring is extremely versatile, durable, hygienic, and is offered in styles ranging from the traditional linoleum or VCT, to stylish and high-end luxury vinyl tile. This type of product is available in a variety of high-end finishes, including faux-wood planks which are growing in popularity.

  • Wood

Whether its engineered or natural hardwood, wood flooring is classically elegant.  Today’s wood floors are more durable than ever, thanks to new finishes which protect against wear, stains and spills. Wood flooring can last a lifetime, but requires a strong and level subfloor.

  • Ceramic Tile

Ceramic tile is impervious to stains, heat, and most chemicals, and, if properly cared for, can outlast the building that it’s installed in. Costs and look can vary significantly, but virtually any design is possible using today’s advanced manufacturing techniques.

  • Natural Stone

Natural stone can be one of the most distinctive and beautiful flooring products available.  Styles of stone are practically endless, but include marble, granite and slate. PDF can help you select the right material for your application by taking into consideration the available styles as well as the characteristics of the stone that you’re considering.

  • Rubber

Rubber flooring, manufactured from synthetic rubber, is available in a growing number of styles and form factors such as tiles and sheets. Rubber is solid, hygienic and long-lasting.

  • Concrete

Concrete staining, sealing, epoxy and resinous flooring is growing in popularity since it can often qualify for LEED points and is among the most durable types of flooring. New products in this area are becoming increasingly cost-competitive.

  • Moisture Barriers and Mitigation

Subfloor moisture barriers may not be exciting areas to spend limited construction budgets, however, if not properly addressed, subfloor moisture can destroy any flooring products in its vicinity. There are a number of new moisture mitigation solutions on the market that have impressive warranties and are also quite cost-effective. Where needed, an investment in a moisture solution is highly recommended to protect the cost of the flooring material.

Commitment to Green Products

As part of our pursuit of longevity and progress, PDF is committed to sustainability and reducing the environmental impact of construction. We are a proud participant in the Carpet America Recovery Effort (CARE), CalRecycle, and the California Carpet Stewardship Fund.
