The Perfect Materials For Every Project

As one of Southern California’s largest commercial flooring contractors, we’re able to offer our clients the benefit of access to a wide variety of flooring materials. We install and service all types of flooring from every major and specialty manufacturer, ranging from modestly-priced value products to high-end luxury products.

  • Carpet

Modern manufacturing allows designers to create beautiful carpet that is cost-effective and stylish. Traditional broadloom carpet is being replaced by modular carpet tile, which is available in lots of shapes, sizes, and styles. Carpet is relatively inexpensive, soft, and can be more forgiving with issues in the subfloor.

  • Sheet Vinyl

Vinyl flooring is extremely versatile, durable, hygienic, and is offered in styles ranging from the traditional linoleum or VCT, to stylish and high-end luxury vinyl tile. This type of product is available in a variety of high-end finishes, including faux-wood planks which are growing in popularity.

  • Ceramic Tile

Ceramic tile is impervious to stains, heat, and most chemicals, and, if properly cared for, can outlast the building that it’s installed in. Costs and look can vary significantly, but virtually any design is possible using today’s advanced manufacturing techniques.

  • Vinyl Plank

Vinyl planks are becoming a popular choice for their low-maintenance, water-resistance, cost-effectiveness, and longevity. They are firm and durable, but have a nice springy feel under your feet.

  • Natural Stone

Natural stone can be one of the most distinctive and beautiful flooring products available.  Styles of stone are practically endless, but include marble, granite and slate. PDF will help you select the right material, based on available styles and the characteristics of the stone.

  • Terrazzo

Often seen in world-class hotel lobbies and expensive venues, terrazzo is no longer just for the elite. Using a bio-friendly resin, we’re making this beautiful flooring option available in a more cost-effective and sustainable way.

  • Rubber

Rubber flooring, manufactured from synthetic rubber, is available in a growing number of styles and form factors such as tiles and sheets. Rubber is solid, hygienic and long-lasting.

  • Wood

Whether its engineered or natural hardwood, wood flooring is classically elegant.  Today’s wood floors are more durable than ever, thanks to new finishes which protect against wear, stains and spills. Wood flooring can last a lifetime, but requires a strong and level subfloor.

  • Porcelain Panels

Often available in large or oversized panel sizes, these tile and stone panels are a great choice for both floors and walls.

  • Concrete

Concrete staining, sealing, epoxy and resinous flooring is growing in popularity since it can often qualify for LEED points and is very durable. New concrete variations are becoming increasingly cost-competitive.

  • Homogeneous

Available for healthcare applications in PVC or non-PVC, this single-layer flooring is perfect for avoiding bacterial breeding.

  • Moisture Barriers

It may not be an exciting area to spend a limited construction budget, but if not properly addressed, subfloor moisture can destroy any flooring products in its vicinity. We can recommend several moisture-mitigation solutions that have impressive warranties and that are cost-effective.

Commitment to Green

As part of our pursuit of longevity and progress, PDF is committed to sustainability and reducing the environmental impact of construction. We are a proud participant in the Carpet America Recovery Effort (CARE), CalRecycle, and the California Carpet Stewardship Fund. We also work with our customers and vendors to support carpet recycling and reclamation efforts.

Our team is experienced in specifying and installing LEED certified projects. PDF’s flooring advisors can help suggest greener materials, adhesives, and installation methods, and assist with the paperwork required for LEED points.
